the big questions
We are interested in links between transcription and splicing as well as the role of cellular sub-compartments in RNA biogenesis. Our major tools include next generation sequencing and imaging techniques that capture RNA-protein interactions. We study these phenomena in fission and budding yeast, mammalian tissue culture cells, zebrafish, and green algae.
